Swiss Precision
We use Sensirion sensors — designed and manufactured in Switzerland. Sensirion is the industry standard for precision environmental sensing, trusted in medical devices, cleanrooms, and scientific instruments worldwide.
Cheap sensors drift. They're affected by self-heating. They give you readings that look plausible but aren't accurate. When you're making decisions about your grow based on environmental data, the quality of that data matters.
These sensors report temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure with accuracy you can actually rely on.
The Light Sensor
Not a PAR meter. Not trying to be. This is a utility sensor — and it solves problems you might not have thought about.
Dark Cycle Integrity
Light pollution during dark periods can cause stress, hermaphroditism, and reduced yields in photoperiod-sensitive plants. Even small amounts of light — a green indicator LED, light leaking under a door — can disrupt the flowering response. The lux sensor gives you proof that your dark cycle is actually dark.
System-Wide Dark Mode
The light sensor data is shared across your entire OMGROW system. When the room goes dark, all devices automatically dim or disable their indicator lights — no configuration needed. We're committed to helping you achieve a truly dark room, not sabotaging it with glowing LEDs on the equipment.

Printed in PLA Bioplastic
The housing is 3D printed in Bambu Lab PLA Pure — a five-ingredient bioplastic made from plant starch, with no plasticiser of any kind. No phthalates, and none of the polyethylene glycol or citrate esters that some PLA compounds use. Independent SGS testing of printed samples under EU Regulation 10/2011 measured overall migration in all four food simulants and found none detectable in any of them, including 3% acetic acid held at 70°C.
Those reports cover the material we print in rather than certifying this finished part, and we don't market our enclosures as food-safe — printed parts have layer lines, which is a hygiene question no chemistry can answer.
